FPGA ENGINEER

LightCode Photonics is developing novel 3D vision solutions to help robotic vehicles to see the world around them, avoid obstacles and position themselves. We aim to make autonomous operations widely affordable for automated mobility on earth, in the air, at sea and in space.


We are looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our team.

As an FPGA Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, testing and releasing the Software-Defined 3D camera system. If you like to build new technologies from scratch, solve complex problems and make a real impact then you have the necessary qualities to become a LightCoder.


WITH US YOU'LL BE DOING THE FOLLOWING:

  • Implementing computational algorithms designed by LightCode in an FPGA platform.

  • Interfacing the SoC with external devices (USB, Ethernet).

  • Supporting FPGA SoC system as a platform for developing MPU code for further data processing and distribution.

  • Becoming a tech leader for the FPGA development team.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have prior experience working as an FPGA Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer or Hardware Engineer.

  • You have a strong background in FPGA SoC development.

  • You can design in Verilog and/or VHDL and know how to use simulation and debugging tools.

  • You have a desire to work and succeed as a team and share your knowledge with colleagues.
